At Teaneck Englewood & Vicinity Club - NANBPWC Inc, our mission is to promote and protect the interests of African American business and professional women; to serve as advisors for young people seeking to enter business and the professions; to enhance community engagement and improve the quality of life in our local and global communities, and to foster good fellowship through effective business networking.

We are a 501c(3) organization founded by Florence A Holmes and chartered in October 1963. Since our inception, this club has been vigorous and active in community engagement, particularly emphasizing scholarship assistance to the youth in our communities. Since our inception, this club has been vigorous and active in community engagement, particularly emphasizing scholarship assistance to the youth in our communities. Our Annual Founder’s Day Observance allows us to honor our Founders by recognizing members of our community who exemplify noteworthy qualities and accomplishments, particularly in the realm of African American business and business networking. Our Founders were focused, highly committed, and courageous women determined to make a difference, and we are grateful to all of them.

We offer an annual scholarship and programs aimed at supporting the growth and development of African American business professional women. Our initiatives include Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Service [LETS]. The LETS programs provide an opportunity to further engage with women across various stages of their careers, promoting business networking and community engagement. Additionally, we organize various events to facilitate networking and knowledge-sharing among members.

We collaborate with a range of organizations and stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and academic institutions, to advance the interests of our members, particularly in supporting African American business. Our focus on business networking and community engagement helps promote sustainable business growth for all involved.
